Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) claimed that MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell had been “vindicated” after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said that voting machines were “vulnerable” to hackers.
At a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Gabbard catered to President Donald Trump’s claims that the 2020 presidential election had been stolen from him by revealing she was investigating voting machines.
“We have the best of the best going after this,” the official said. “We have evidence of how these electronic voting systems have been vulnerable to hackers for a very long time and vulnerable to exploitation to manipulate the results of the votes being cast.”
“Mike Lindell along with MANY others vindicated!!” Greene exclaimed on the X social media platform. “Another conspiracy theory being proven right! Guess what Democrats already knew this and publicly talked about it in 2019! And then lied and lied and lied!!!”

In 2021, Dominion Voting Systems filed suit against Lindell for defamation after he claimed the company’s machines flipped votes from Trump to President Joe Biden.
“Despite repeated warnings and efforts to share the facts with him, Mr. Lindell has continued to maliciously spread false claims about Dominion, each time giving empty assurances that he would come forward with overwhelming proof. These claims have caused irreparable harm to Dominion’s good reputation and threatened the safety of our employees and customers. Moreover, Mr. Lindell’s lies have undermined trust in American democracy and tarnished the hard work of local election officials,” Dominion CEO John Poulos said in a statement. “No amount of money can repair the damage that’s been done by these lies, which are easily disproved. Hundreds of documented audits and recounts have proven that Dominion machines accurately counted votes. We look forward to proving these facts in a court of law.”
Lindell is also facing a defamation lawsuit from voting machine manufacturer Smartmatic.
