President Donald Trump took to Truth Social late Monday night to continue his furious reaction to polls claiming he was losing support — and promising the U.S. would soon be rich.
In the posting tirade, he first alleged, “The USA lost Billions of Dollars A DAY in International Trade under Sleepy Joe Biden. I have now stemmed that tide, and will be making a fortune, very soon.”

Just two minutes later, he posted, “The Polls from the Fake News are, like the News itself, FAKE! We are doing GREAT, better than ever before.” The post follows several outlets, including those that are typically pro-Trump, which showed him down in the polls. Fox News polls show Trump’s approval rating dropped to 44%. Similarly, Rasmussen showed a 5-point drop for Trump’s approval rating.
The posts were made just before midnight and were followed by two links. The first was to a pollster saying the first 100-day polls were skewed. The second is a Fox Business article saying foreign and domestic investments have totaled over $5T under Trump, and the economy has added 451k jobs for Americans.
